Antwerp America Foundation welcomes Cecilia Kang, bestselling author of ‘An Ugly Truth: Inside Facebook’s Battle for Domination’

On Thursday October 28th 2021 NY Times reporter and bestselling, author Cecilia Kang captivated the audience with a detailed but also entertaining talk about the instant bestselling book she co-wrote with her colleague Sheera Frankel: “An Ugly Truth, Inside Facebook’s Battle for Domination” (Een Smerige Waarheid/Atlas Contact). In this publication they unveil the tech story of our times in a riveting, behind-the-scenes exposé. Kang and Frankel interviewed more than 400 people and spent thousands of hours talking to insiders. Before Cecilia Kang took the stage former Belgian minister of Telecom and Digital Agenda, Mr Philippe De Backer, spoke with great enthusiasm about her book.
Cecilia Kang was the first speaker in the flesh in Antwerp for the activities of the Antwerp America Foundation.
